TECH ELITE - 2007
Students learn all about next generation CTI technology |
TechElite (Programming Competition and Software Exhibition) was an effort from the final year students of Computer and Information Systems Engineering at NED University. The event took place at NED University, Karachi on August 18th, 2007. TechElite invited all the young programmers and software engineers from different universities to unleash their flair of creativity and exhibit their potential at its very best. ZRG International encouraged the efforts of young students and participated in this event as a Platinum sponsor. A few of ZRG representatives were also available at the venue throughout the event and provided awareness and consultancy to young graduates regarding telecom and contact center industry in Pakistan. |

ZRG International participated once again in P@SHA's job fair held on 16th June 2007 at Karachi Expo Center and offered internship and training opportunities to the fresh graduates in different departments and had a marvelous response. As the Banking Sector changes its different ways of carrying out its operations efficiently with the help of Information Technology, many companies in the IT sector have been able to show their skills in the best possible manner. Total Communications yet again like in the previous year 2006 have highlighted the banking sector in its e-banking conference in May 2007 held at a local hotel in Karachi.
ZRG showcased its services, along with other leading banking technology companies, by exhibiting at the conference venue. The Exhibition provided an avenue for interaction with delegates and visitors. CTI User Conference, Dec 2006 |
The first Contact Technology Industry User Conference was held on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Hotel Sheraton, Karachi. The conference was organized by ZRG International and the conference theme was to address the key aspects of the management and operations of customer services. The event was a huge success with an attendance of over 150 key professionals from the Customer Services and Support industry along with representatives from key media organizations.
The panel of speakers included Mr. Fareed Zaka Bajwa, Director Customer Services at Mobilink, Mr. Sadruddin Salim, Sr. Manager, Contact Center at Ufone and Mr. Yasir Riaz, Head Contact Center and Southern Operations at Bank Alfalah. Also Mr. Ayub Butt, CEO, ZRG International presented on the emerging technology trends at the contact center and Mr. Syed Ali Shamim, Business Development Head, ZRG highlighted the current set of capabilities that are in use at today’s contact centers. Mr. Salman Zakir, Assistant Manager Marketing, ZRG highlighted the importance of hiring and training in the Contact Centers and also presented about the key considerations to be taken while developing the physical layout of contact centers. |

Connect IT Conference, Dec 2006 |
CONNECTit Conference was inaugurated by Advisor to the Chief Minister on IT, Mr. Noman Sehgal announced new initiatives of the government including e-policing. | ZRG Wins FPCCI Telecom Excellence Award as the Market Leader in Contact Center Technology |
Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries or FPCCI has declared ZRG International as the winner of 1st Telecom Excellence Awards in the Contact Center Technology sector.
Through the 1st Telecom Excellence Award initiative, FPCCI recognized market leaders and outstanding achievers in the Telecom sector. The award ceremony, held at Marriott, Karachi on June 3, 2006 was chaired by honorable state minister for IT and Telecom, Mr. Ishaq K. Khakwani along with Chairman PTA, Major General (R) Shahzada Alam Malik and Mr. Ch Muhammad Saeed, President FPCCI.
A total of 155 companies were evaluated and 35 companies were selected as winners in various categories. FPCCI award acknowledges the constructive role ZRG has played in the telecom industry growth through consultations, active participation and by creating the much needed awareness about contact centers and quality based customer services. |

| PASHA Job Fair, April 2006 |
Continued emphasis on Human Resource Development is essential for the growth of a knowledge economy. The P@SHA Job Fair has therefore become a permanent part of the annual activities in the major cities of Pakistan. The event took place in Karachi at a local Hotel on 30th April 2006, where ZRG participated with several positions for fresh IT graduates. Quite a large number of jobs were posted and filled at the event. Workshops were totally interactive and provided an environment for healthy exchange of ideas. |

| e-Banking Conference, June 2006 |
Pakistan e-banking conference was held at the Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi on 26th June 2006. The Speakers in the first session included Shabbir Baxamoosa, Country Head, Alternate Distribution & e-Banking, ABN AMRO who presented a paper on the e-Banking and present status of the industry. He was followed by Salman Zakir from ZRG International who talked about automation in customer services and what ZRG is doing in this regard. The third speaker the first session was Ahsan Rasheed Khan, Account Manager – PKI, NIFT who spoke about Two Factor Authentication for the Banking industry.
The last speaker of the first session as Javed Edhi CIO of Saudi Pak Bank who enlightened the audience on Customer Relationship Management and its importance and implication for the banking industry. |

| PASHA Job Fair, April 2006 |
ZRG International once again after almost a year participates once again with full steam at the Middle East Call Center Exhibition 2006 at Crown Plaza, Dubai. The two day exhibition was backed by a very strong conference which was attended by many professionals belonging to different industries. The conference had many well known speakers belonging to the call center industry since quite a long time from around the globe. There were a lot of well known exhibitors from around the world and ZRG was there to showcase its range of specialized Accurate Products and Solutions based on Intel Technology.
ZRG participated in MECC 2005 as well and after a very positive and warm response, the decision was taken to participate once again with providing an in-depth analysis of the call center technology through a 20 minute speech talking about the overall call center technology scenario. Call Center specialists were also present at the stall to cater to various customer queries. |

ZRG Participates in Pakistan Customer Service Strategy FORUM 2005 |
ZRG International recently participated in a day long National Conference, “Pakistan Customer Services Forum 2005” on Friday, September 16, 2005 at Sheraton Hotels & Towers, Karachi held by the Nutshell Forum. The conference was about dimensions of customer service management.
While giving a presentation on “Designing the Best Helpdesk”, Mr. Ayub Butt, CEO of ZRG presented his views on designing the best helpdesk in which he emphasized on the fact that technology is just a tool which can improve your business performance with relations to customer services. But all this will result in a positive manner if the technology is used in the right way.
Mr. Ayub Butt also stressed on the fact that outsourcing is not the right way of providing customer services. It must be your people with the right tools on the line interacting with your customers. |
